چکیده
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a complex endocrinology disease which requires meticulous understanding of its pathogenesis and complications to subdue it. It has been riddled with extensive micro macro vascular by itself own set pathogenesis. There link between DM cardiovascular (CVD), the most important cause morbidity mortality in diabetic patients. Cardiovascular risk factors such as obesity, hypertension dyslipidemia are more common patients DM, placing them at increased for cardiac events. In addition, they have found biological mechanisms associated that independently increases CVD patients.Metformin commonly used antidiabetic agent derived from Gallegaofficinalis. Metformin provided greater protection against than would be expected effects upon glycemic control alone. Hence this study evaluated anti-inflammatory effect metformin on C Reactive Protein (CRP) fifty type 2 diabetes were enrolled including 23 males 27 females mean age 40±4.33. FBS PPBS baseline values expressed Mean ± SD 138.06±17.12 mg/dl 223.12±30.63 respectively. After 6 months therapy, 91.64±10.55 133.88±7.99 HBA1C value was 7.966±0.85 %. improved 6.8±0.93.hs-CRP Mean±SD 3.4±1.16 mg/L. hs - CRP effectively reduced 1.7±0.81 Prompt treatment intensification cases may thus sensible. Further studies needed identify predictors response, especially focusing hs-CRP levels, lipid levels genetic factors.

Effect of Bromocriptine Mesylate as Add-On Therapy in Obese Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients
Six months administration of bromocriptine mesylate significantly decreased glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), fasting blood sugar, postprandial blood sugar, and weight of 22 Indian obese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with no serious adverse events. Therefore, the novel mechanism of action, efficacy and acceptable safety profile makes this drug an attractive option for treatment of obese typ...
متن کاملSerum C-reactive protein concentration and measures of adiposity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
We investigated serum concentration of C-reactive protein (CRP) and measures of adiposity in 30 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (15 male, 15 female) and 30 age and sex-matched apparently healthy subjects. CRP concentration was determined by laser nephelometry (BN II Analyzer) and CardioPhase high-sensitivity CRP (DADE BEHRING) was used as reagent which consists of polystyrene particles c...
متن کاملEVALUATION OF SERUM CHITINASE-3 LIKE 1 PROTEIN AND C-REACTIVE PROTEIN LEVELS IN TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS WITH CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE COMPARED TO DIABETIC AND HEALTHY CONTROL
Background: Diabetes mellitus, which is associated with elevated blood glucose, lipids and liver enzymes, may results in alterations in the production of inflammatory cytokines, including chitinase-3-like protein 1 (YKL-40) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), which induce and promote complications of diabetes such as atherosclerosis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the serum ...

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the colorectal cancer (CRC) prevention effect of metformin in comparison with that of other T2DM medications from a Markov model perspective. METHODS Literature concerning CRC morbidity of T2DM patients with metformin or other diabetes medications treatment was reviewed in PubMed and Cochrane Library database from September 2010 to December 2016. متن کاملEffects of bromocriptine mesylate on homocysteine and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels in patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus
INTRODUCTION Quick release bromocriptine (BROM-QR), currently approved for glycemic control, reduces the risk of cardiovascular events in adults with type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This study evaluates the effect of BROM-QR on homocysteine (HOMC) and high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), the biochemical markers of coronary atherosclerosis/inflammation, in patients with uncontrolled T2DM...
